"This sculpture is a modern, artistic projection of a fan; a common household appliance that has the movements that mimic the swirls of a spiral. Although it is detachable and build with multiple puzzle-like pieces, it is not playable art. This artwork was presented spinning on an automatic rotating display, moving similarly to a working fan. The title is in the Malay language as 'kayu' can also mean 'stiff'."

A lot of measurements needed to be considered, and many attempts were made for the outcome to become successful.

The measurements of the cuts made on the planks using a pencil. The accuracy matters the most in order to fit the joints well, therefore heavy calculation of measurements needed.
